Doug "Dr. Luff" Luffborough, III, is an ordained pastor with over 20 years of ministry experience dedicated to helping others rise in Christ. Prior to joining the pastoral ministry team at Christ Community Church, Dr. Luff was an Assistant Pastor at one of the fastest-growing Latino churches in Southern California. With a heart for the community, he also founded a nonprofit organization whose mission was to turn the hearts of youth and families through education, leadership development, and family enhancement services.

As a first-generation college graduate, Dr. Luff received his bachelor's degree in business administration and human resources management from Northeastern University, a master's degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education, and his PhD in Leadership Studies from the University of San Diego.

Dr. Luff leads with deep empathy, shepherding others through their lowest valleys and highest triumphs. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Point Loma Nazarene University Graduate School of Education.

Dr. Luff resides in Chula Vista with his wife and their four children.
