Jeff Buckner put his faith in Jesus Christ at age fifteen. His walk with Christ since then has included seasons of growth and leadership, seasons of wandering, and ultimately a profound rediscovery of what it means to fully surrender one’s life to the care of God. Today, Jeff has a deep desire to help people know Jesus personally, grow as His disciples, and become confident sharing the gospel with others.

Jeff is active in discipleship, evangelism, recovery, and teaching ministries at Christ Community Church. He leads the Life Recovery Group, serves in men’s ministry, and, together with his wife, Carole, hosts the Grateful Saints life group. He especially loves studying Scripture, writing about the Bible, talking with people about Jesus, and helping believers realize that sharing their faith does not have to be complicated or intimidating.

Before devoting much of his time to ministry, Jeff spent more than thirty years leading technology projects and teams. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Spring Arbor University and a Paralegal Certificate from UC San Diego. His professional credentials include Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and postgraduate training in generative artificial intelligence through Purdue University.

Jeff believes one of the most powerful ways Christians can share Christ is simply by telling the truth about what Jesus has done in their own lives. In Sharing My Story, his goal is to help believers understand their own testimony, communicate it clearly, and confidently use it to point others to Jesus.
